It is important to ensure that potential tenants meet income requirements when managing property rentals. With DoorLoop's property management software and RapidVerify's income verification services, you can streamline this process significantly. In this guide, we'll show you step-by-step how to integrate these two platforms, enhancing your rental application process by providing real-time income verification for your applicants.

Generate an API Key on DoorLoop

First, let's start by creating an API Key on DoorLoop. This key will be used to connect your DoorLoop account to your RapidVerify account.

  1. Log into your DoorLoop account at https://www.doorloop.com.

  2. Navigate to Settings located at the bottom left corner of your dashboard.

  3. Under the Company section, click on Zapier & API Keys.

  4. For the Key Name field, enter RapidVerify.

  5. Click the green checkmark to save your API Key.

  6. Click the Copy icon to copy your new API Key. Keep this key safe; you will need it for the next step.

Configure RapidVerify Integration

Now, let's move over to RapidVerify to set up the integration with DoorLoop.

  1. Ensure you are logged into your RapidVerify account at https://app.rapidverify.io .

  2. From your dashboard, click on 'Integrations'.

  3. Select 'DoorLoop' from the list of available integrations.

  4. In the 'API Key' field, paste the API Key you copied from DoorLoop.

  5. Click on 'Save' to confirm the integration.

RapidVerify gives you several options to filter applicants, such as by portfolio ID or property ID, and even by applicant status. This feature helps in prioritizing and managing your rental applicants more effectively.

Verification Reports and Notifications

With the integration set up, you can now opt to send the income verification reports directly to DoorLoop. You will also receive a copy of the report via email, and you can view all completed reports in the Verifications section at https://app.rapidverify.io/verifications .

Setting Up Automatic Requests (Optional)

RapidVerify also offers the option for automatic requests. This feature sends out an income verification request each time a new rental application is created in DoorLoop, saving you the hassle of manually creating a verification request for every new applicant.

When a new application is submitted on DoorLoop, RapidVerify will automatically send an email to the applicant requesting them to verify their income. If you choose not to require the applicant to pay for the verification request, you will only be charged for successful verifications completed by the applicant.

That's it! Your DoorLoop account is now integrated with RapidVerify, providing you with a streamlined way of managing your rental applications with real-time income verification.
